    Cypress

    15ml

    100% Pure, Cypress Essential Oil.

The cupressus sempervirens tree can live to be over 1000 years old, and produces soft green needles and twigs all year long. Our cypress essential oil is steam-distilled from needles and twigs grown in France.

    Common Uses:
Cypress essential oil has astringent properties, which make it great for applying to oily skin. It can also reduce the appearance of varicose veins and be applied in places with extreme perspiration. Aromatically, cypress has a woody scent that can relax and calm the mind. Diffuse, apply in 2-5% dilution, or mix a few drops into a spray bottle with water.

    Aromatic Scent:
Cypress French Essential Oil has a spicy, herbaceous, slightly woody evergreen aroma. It is fresh and clean.

    History:
The Phoenicians and Cretans used Cypress wood for building ships and homes. The Egyptians used the wood for making sarcophagi (coffins), and the Greeks used it for sculpturing statues of their gods. The Greek word 'Sempervirens' means 'lives forever' or ‘ever-living’. The tree gave its name to the island of Cypress where it used to be worshiped. The legend says the cross of Jesus had been made of cypress wood and it generally seems to be connected with death.

    Cautions:
None known. This oil is regarded as being very gentle and suitable for all skin types.

    15ml

100% Pure, Dragon's Breath Protective Blend

One of our most popular blends. Based on the ancient recipe used by corpse robbers in the time of the plague, with updates informed by modern research.

Usage Methods: Mix into cleaning solutions, add to hand sanitizer/hand soap, diffuse for greater protection.

    Research & Fun Facts

    • Clove was used in dental practices traditionally because of its anti-infective properties as well as its high eugenol content, which numbs oral tissues on contact
    • Tradition holds that during the time of the Black Plague, a group of grave robbers were caught and sentenced to death. They were granted pardon for their crimes on one condition - reveal the secret of how they avoided contracting the disease. The robbers revealed that they were spice traders and had anointed themselves with a mixture of spices to protect against illness. While the exact recipe has been lost, many modern herbal remedies combine research from modern medicine with the inspirational story of the thieves.
    • Germs, mold, and viruses can be spread through contact with air, water, blood, other people, and other contact surfaces. Airborne pathogens can be spread when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or even breathes. Some pathogens can live on surfaces, untreated, for days.

Contains: Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon Bark, Eucalyptus Radiata, Peppermint & Oregano.

100% Pure, Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil.

There are multiple types of eucalyptus on the market. Most consumers are most familiar with eucalyptus globulus, which has a harsher scent and can cause reactions in children. Eye of the Storm

    $ 18.00

    15ml

    Intense stress, anger

Usage Methods:Apply to hands and breathe deeply , diffuse for relaxation and calm

    Research & Fun Facts

    • Essential oils have a powerful mind-over-body effect - smelling something beautiful can help you to be calm by bringing back good memories of the past.
    • Deep breathing helps diffuse difficult situations in two ways - by delivering powerful oils deeply into your lungs, and by slowing your heart rate to lower stress
    • A story one of our founders shares: In life, there are two types of problems - those with solutions, and those without. When faced with a stressful situation, the key is determining which type of problem you face. For problems with solutions, there is no need to stress - simply find the solution and the problem will be solved. For problems without solutions, there is no need to stress - there is no solution, and stress will not change that. Either way, stress will not improve the situation, but will only cloud your mind and make it difficult to find the right solution. Learning to release stress is a key in finding peace.
    • Most stressful situations become much less stressful after just a few minutes - not because anything has changed, but because you have routed more energy to the thinking, instead of the feeling, side of your brain. Take time to simply breathe and relax, and often solutions will appear.
