It has a reputation for helping the entire body maintain balance (particularly helpful to women who menstruate) and for promoting well-being. Licorice contains triterpenoid saponins, flavonoids, isoflavonoids and other beneficial constituents.
Take 2 capsules with a meal three times daily. ATC concentrate: Take 1 capsule with a meal twice daily. Liquid: Take 20–25 drops (1 ml) with water three times daily. One ml is equal to 2 capsules of licorice root.
